People will stick it out because of the new characters.

The problem with something like this is that even if the new system is a screw

It does use meter. Japanese blog says 1 bar, other places said 2. I think
they're considering a rebalance because of fan backlash. Red focusing a
jumping would be ridiculously strong. In this version you can
react to the focus with an invincible move like a DP. In USF4 you won't be
able to do that because the Red Focus would absorb the jump and DP. How could
they not see that?

Hmmmm....

Purposefully didn't show the super meter when Ryu was red-focussing.

I guess it's going to eat super meter and not build Ultra.

Apparently the new char is basically just a palette swap. GGS Capcom.

Not a rumour any more. It's in, and it's even worse than the rumour because in
the vid Ryu absorbs THREE hits.

Only a rumour for now Al :)

I hope it stays that way because a lot of characters have no way to beat that
system mechanic.

So you still haven’t finished the final dungeon? Sucks to dc on the last
fights. Do you log back in and just not make it in time?

I see that you did a leve quest at 06h45 this morning. Erm.

Did my lv50 quest for gsm. Went...surprisingly well. I needed a lv3 piety
material. Paas said why don’t I try to convert my lv49 weapon? I thought the
idea was stupid because
the chance of it randomly being the material I wanted were slim. Turns out it
was fine. Materia made. I bought some hq mats, synthed to the materials for the
ring, made it HQ first shot. All done. Total cost, about 200 gil.

My lv50 skill is +50% control for next 5 moves. Cost is 18cp.

Anyways, got very little money left, so I’ll be spamming the botany for a bit
now.
