As a Ken player you will learn to love mashing DP. You don't need to do the EWGF motion. It's any forward direction, any down, any forward. So df, db, df + p will work. Alternatively, mash backdash or focus backdash. Focus Backdash is riskier but you recover 2f faster relative to normal backdash because the attack undergoes a 2f impact freeze.
