Well, BA did do nice damage, but I have no great mix-ups/resets with him. You have low/overhead/grab. Each of these does good damage. I don't have low. I had overhead for insane damage, and grab for a little damage. Not really what I'd call a mix-up. Grundy - combo+mix-up = death. BA - combo, then zoning. That's why my combo damage is high - because you shouldn't eat it very often. Mostly I'm getting the 30% or so combos from full screen away, rather than the b+2 overhead full combo. Its sad that BA was doing only slightly less damage for less or equal meter + retarded zoning :( But GL was essentially unchanged so there is that pain in the ass aswell ________________________________ From: alasdair.donaldson@xxxxxxxxxx<mailto:alasdair.donaldson@xxxxxxxxxx> To: cpt-fgc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:cpt-fgc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [CPT-FGC] Re: [CPT-RPG] Re: Stuff off Date: Thu, 17 Oct 2013 08:41:47 +0000 Grundy's damage is just stupidly retarded. And Paas wonders why I spend the whole match running away... The corner combo does look pretty sweet actually. Cant remember the exact figures. So just gave the 50-70% range. I know he can get a bit over 60 using health chain. So I assume with power chain on it should be around 70%. Some stages have huge + easy background bounce interactibles aswell that will push it to 70% with 1 bar without Power chain I reckon. (I need to do these more often) You know about his reset? Thats what allows his high damage combos. Trait grab is guarenteed after b+1 (Need to delay it so it doesnt combo). So you get unscaled Trait grab at the end. (33% if Health Chain). Easy to jump out of if you screw up the timing... but jump can be easily baited if you know your opp is going to try and jump incase you screw up for even more damage :D Normal combos d+2, 11, MB Swamp hands, JI2, b+1, reset to Trait. (51% with Health Chain) 112, MB Swamp hands, JI2, b+1, reset to Trait. +- 60% f+13, 11, MB Swamp hands, JI2, b+1, reset to Trait. +- 60% Boss looking 2 bar combo against wall. 112, MB Swamp hands, Crossover JI2, B+1, MB Walking corpse, 1b2, trait. Think it was 68% and looks amazing. ________________________________ Date: Wed, 16 Oct 2013 19:46:33 +0200 Subject: [CPT-FGC] Re: [CPT-RPG] Re: Stuff off From: nicmuir@xxxxxxxxx<mailto:nicmuir@xxxxxxxxx> To: cpt-fgc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:cpt-fgc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> ptooie! to "can't combo into it" Wall bound work, and look cool from air grab. But yeah, 47% damage for that many bars is senseless. How'd you get 70% damage on 1 MB? And seeing as how stupidly usefull MB swamp hands is grundy pretty much never has 4 meters to waste on 30-40% damage. Since he cant combo into it. (or MB cleaver... or MB Trait) I think ive used it once during all of the matches between me and stu. ________________________________ Date: Wed, 16 Oct 2013 16:13:10 +0200 Subject: [CPT-FGC] Re: [CPT-RPG] Re: Stuff off From: nicmuir@xxxxxxxxx<mailto:nicmuir@xxxxxxxxx> To: cpt-fgc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:cpt-fgc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> lovely On Wed, Oct 16, 2013 at 4:12 PM, Wynand-Ben Viljoen <paashaasggx@xxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:paashaasggx@xxxxxxxxxxx>> wrote: Yea Im pretty sure he still takes full damage from all the hits. ________________________________ Date: Wed, 16 Oct 2013 16:11:01 +0200 Subject: [CPT-FGC] Re: [CPT-RPG] Re: Stuff off From: nicmuir@xxxxxxxxx<mailto:nicmuir@xxxxxxxxx> To: cpt-fgc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:cpt-fgc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Hah, so does he lose health when you hit him?
