Continuing the theme of Royal Visits, I came across this photo in the
Vancouver City archives of 2703 at Drake Street in Vancouver and it has a
crown mounted above the headlight. You can click on the photo to get a

The photo is dated May 23, 1937, but I wasn't aware of any Royal Visits to
Vancouver in 1937, and although I'm not sure, I didn't think any of the
1939 Tour pilot or press trains carried a crown on the front of the
locomotive. Any ideas what the crown is for and what the occasion might
have been?
