Interview: Local author writes book on Kettle Valley Railway
<https://www.merrittherald.com/local-author-writes-book-on-kettle-valley-railway/>

This is not on Amazon. I flipped through it at Chapters. Stories of 1-2
pages with a photo. From construction to present day.

When Trains Ruled the Kootenays: A Short History of Railways in
Southeastern British Columbia <https://www.amazon.ca/dp/1771604018/>

Amazon: Terry Gainer’s latest book documents sixty years of change in the
railway industry of British Columbia. The evolving transformations of life
and landscape noted in the text and photos also reflect a period of rapid
change in Canada. Threaded through the narrative are anecdotes from
Kootenay pioneers recounting their experiences and the means of
transportation of the times.
Terry Gainer wrote about growing up at Banff Station in his previous book.
I have not seen either. He lives in Nelson BC.
