Good Evening I have asked Martyn Evans to attend tomorrow nights meeting but in
case there are any issues and he is unable to attend below is the details of
the report
Between 01/01/2018 and 30/01/2018 there have been 28 crime reported in the area
bordered by Pittodrie to the Beach Boulevard and King Street. These crime
relate to misuse of drugs, assaults, thefts, rto's, a theft by housebreaking,
a robbery and a firearm related incident. The Firearm incident is detected
with someone already charged and reported to court. The robbery is relates to
a further one on Union Street where newsagents have been robbed at knifepoint
and enquiries in relation to these crimes are ongoing. In the same period in
2017 there were 51 reported crimes in the same time period and area.
Between the saem dates in the area bordered by Beach Boulevard, the Harbour and
Virginia Street there have been 14 reported crimes. These crimes relate to
road traffic offences, theft and prostitution. In the same time period and
locations in 2017 there was 35 reported crimes.
These figures suggest an overall reduction in reported crime for January
comparing year by year of 50% - lets hope this downward trend continues for the
months to come.

The meeting is at the Town House, Queen Street and the entrance is immediately
on your right under the overhang when you turn from Broad Street into Queen
Street. If you can be there for 1800 hours and once you have done your input
return to operational duties. Any questions or issues raise return to me and I
will answer them. After attending can you also submit a Community Engagement
database entry.
