Please find attached an updated Consultation Response that I have prepared
toward the Highlander Bus Cafe planning application, based on the response
received from the owner and applicant earlier this evening.
This updated Consultation Response would change our response from:
- Full Objection
to
- Support, with Inclusion of Recommendations
This updated response makes recommendations on the commitments and pledges
provided by the owner of the Highlander Bus Cafe, and explains how these will
go toward taking into account, reducing the impact and improving the situation
of previous concerns raised by members and those in the community.
It is excellent to see the response that we have received and to have the
initial concerns addressed in a thorough and meaningful way.
I believe this could also set a significant and strong precedent for many of
the Tourism / Food & Drink focused companies and developers active and
operating in the area, if approved.
If it would be possible to confirm whether this updated response has the
support of members and I shall be sure to send in by midnight tonight, in time
for tomorrow's consultation date.
