Hi Betty,
This will probably have to be sent as a defect to the builder via
info@xxxxxxxxxxx rather than through the Strata Manager, although I'd CC them
when you send it. I've attached a blank form for you if you don't have one.
Personally, I'm not sure if you'll get far as the storage cages buy their very
nature are exposed to the environment around them which includes water leaks. I
don't store anything in my cage that's not in sealed plastic containers (Ikea
have plenty of them in varying sizes) and covered with a waterproof tarp. I've
found over the years that carboard doesn't protect anything unless it's kept in
ideal conditions (inside your unit). Just my two cents worth 😊.
Alexander

Subject: [cpactiongroup] Notification of water leaks caused by the recent
Rainstorm
(c.c. Anne Sullivan and Alexander Carrington)
Hi Chapman,
I refer to my advice to you on 24 March 2021 regarding the recent torrential
rain (I think between 18 and 23 March) that caused water leaks from the ceiling
in my storage cage in front of my car space 55 in Building B Basement 2.
Attached are some photos showing water damage to all my boxes stored in there
but, unfortunately, the photos couldn’t capture the water leaking down.
Can you please organize repair for the leaks in my storage cage.
I would appreciate it if you can keep me informed of the progress and status of
this notification.
If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Many thanks and regards,
Betty Lew
