Even if you can't attend the <http://www.radiohof.org/> National Radio Hall
of Fame induction ceremony next week, you can still hear it all for free via
live audio streaming.
The sold-out event November 2 from Chicago's Museum of Broadcast
Communications will be live-streamed and available on-demand on
<http://tunein.com/> TuneIn, the online podcasting site. It starts at 7
p.m.
Heading the list of this year's inductees is Chicago radio legend John
Records Landecker, who'll be presented by longtime colleague and friend Bob
Sirott. The two worked together at WLS AM 890, where Landecker rose to fame
during his first run from 1972 to 1981.

Other inductees in the shrine to radio's greatest performers and programs
include Sean Hannity (presented by Scott Shannon), Tom Barnard (presented by
Scott Jameson), Bobby Bones (presented by Rod Phillips), Bill Handel
(presented by Greg Ashlock), Joseph Field (presented by David Field), and
the late Bob Sievers (presented by Ryan Wrecker).
Robin Quivers, also announced as an inductee, is not expected to attend.
Kraig T. Kitchin, chairman of the National Radio Hall of Fame, said in a
statement: "We're pleased to have such talented and accomplished presenters
joining us on this special night and happy that those who can't attend won't
miss a beat thanks to TuneIn."
Tickets for the 29th annual black-tie optional event at the Museum of
Broadcast Communications, 360 North State Street, were $275
