Is there more information to that error?
Anyway for now you can probably solve the problem with this quick-and-dirty
fix:
1) stop any cmsProxyService running; to check running instances, use the
command: ps ax | grep ProxyService
2) stop any cmsRankingWebServer running; to check running instances, use
the command: ps ax | grep RankingServer
3) delete the RWS folder, which should be /var/local/lib/cms/ranking
4) start cmsRankingWebServer again
5) start cmsProxyService again
