DRCOG wants to hear about regional innovation and success.

Nominate a person, program or plan!

This year’s DRCOG awards celebration will represent the milestones and
successes that have made the Denver region a great place to live, work and
play. It will highlight and honor the individuals, plans, programs and projects
that collectively benefit the region today and have moved the region toward its
vision for the future, outlined in Metro Vision.

Make a nomination to highlight what your community and its residents have done
to make life better in the region. Consider nominating the recent
collaborations, innovations and cooperation you’ve fostered – so they can be
honored at the annual celebration, April 27, 2022, at Empower Field at Mile
High.

Submit a nomination for this year’s Metro Vision Awards, or recommend a
regional champion to be considered for the John V. Christensen Memorial Award.
Nominations are due Jan. 7, 2022.

Metro Vision, the region’s plan for growth and development, represents the
shared, aspirational future envisioned by its communities. Today’s innovations
by local governments, residents, state and federal partners, businesses,
foundations and nonprofits contribute to the region’s quality of life. Learn
more about last year’s winners.

John V. Christensen Memorial Award

The John V. Christensen Memorial Award has been presented since 1973 and is one
of the region's most prestigious awards. It recognizes individuals who promote
cooperation and collaboration for the benefit of the region. Watch a video
about Ron Rakowsky, last year’s recipient.

Way to Go Awards

Each year, DRCOG’s Way to Go program recognizes commuters in the region who
ditch single-occupant vehicles in favor of creative, sustainable transportation
solutions. Nominations for commuting innovators can include people or
companies. Learn more about Way to Go’s suite of awards.
