The worst one but one of the first ones was ICQ, now owned by AOL....I won't
even load it on my machines it's that slow and bad anymore

  I primarily use Yahoo for everything...AIM i stay away from and MSN

works pretty much on it's own and AIM is another subject altogether.

            My sister is currently running 5.1 version of Instant Messenger.
This version does not allow the two of us to have a video conversation. It
says her version is too old. BUT, when she tries to install the newer
version, It won't accept her passwords etc.

            to get the updated version working should she completely delete
the old one first then install the latest?
            She is using window xp.
            I hope this makes sense to someone? My brain is out to lunch.
