20 years ago, I worked with biomedical electronics/electromechanics for
hospitals... mostly volumetric IV pumps... and the pumps were sold to larger
institutions at contract prices that were at or below the cost of production
and shipping.
Of course, over the 3-4 year pre-obsolescence lifetime of such a device, it
would (if treated properly and well maintained) consume 10 to 30 times its
value in pre-packaged, system-specific, single use, disposable IV delivery
stuff.

What they do is take calls and e-mails and awnser them. The first 2 they actually discussed actual PSS Support Incidents. Which could prevent you from paying $250 Per Incident by listening to it. No sales in it what so ever.

TV isn't all bad, and wasn't back "yonder" in years past - I watched maybe 3 programs a morning on Sat and then one after school, occasionally 2 - usually 3 Stooges. You have to have some variation or not having some outside entertainment like TV or radio gets as boring as too much - you might as well cut the power and drive a horse drawn black buggy.
Watch maybe one movie a week, at home - haven't been to a theater in probably 25 yrs except to do repairs at a few. Same with churches and hospitals - always in them doing repair work, not a customer/client.

I was in my late teens before I even saw a pong game and then it was a coin op one at an arcade. I've done my share of dropping money into a pinball machine but it got boring real quick. Video games and PC games don't thrill me much either - would rather put on hiking gear and go for a walk in the woods.
