Back then I ran a BBS off a rickety old 386sx. The thing had 8 30-pin SIMM slots and a grand total of 2Megs RAM, with all the slots filled. I had two single-spin CD-ROM drives(Real Sony CDU-53's). It had a 120Meg disk partitioned in half. I ran PCBoard on that thing.
