It's dangerous if it's plugged in when you're in it, otherwise it's safe -
it does not hold residual power like a TV...TV runs on 25k to 35k v for the
CRT, PC power supply takes 110 (or 220, whatever it takes) down to 12 and 5
vdc. They tell you that to sell you a new one.

  Joe..I was told it's dangerous to open the PS..??????  I just may find it
easier to replace the whole PS..rather than mess with the innards.  It's a
few years old..at least 3-4 years old.  And my pc is on 24/7
