Tour de force mobile technology meets performance art with this contraption: a
bicycle that receives SMS text messages from a public web site, sprays the
messages in foot-high chalk letters onto the pavement, then blogs a digital
photo and GPS map of the "printout" onto the web as the rider pedals around.

The bike is to be used as a "vehicle" of protest at the Republican National
Convention where visitors to http://bikesagainstbush.com will be able to send
anti-Bush text messages from their browsers that get printed onto the streets
of Manhattan.

Whatever your politics, ya gotta admit that's kinda cool! :-)

David
