Hello Gardeners!
I hope you're enjoying this endless gardening season! Read on to learn
about garden activities planned for tomorrow, the arrival of a new
community gardener, and some more info about jumping worms.
1. If you're around tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon, come on down to the
garden at 1:30. You can work on your own plot or chip in on some to be
determined tasks that could include organizing the shed, consolidating the
compost pile, tidying the garden perimeter, pulling stakes and string, or
whatever else strikes your fancy. It'll be great to get some fresh air and
help out our community garden. Dan and I will be there for sure!
2. Congratulations to gardeners Erica and Lucas who recently welcomed
Morrisville’s newest gardener: Jasper Michael Harris, born October 2. They
report he is a total joy! See photos below.
3. Brie shared more info about invasive jumping worms

link you will learn how to identify them in the garden and about best
practices for plant sales and swaps. Brie reports they have been found in
Waterbury, Fayston, and Burlington. If you click on the lnk, don't worry
