EXERCISE O7T5047 - simulated newscast

Tallahassee, FL - Shortly before leaving the air for unexplained reasons, the Tallahassee office of the National Weather Service reported a very strong band of thunderstorms moving through the Leon/Wakulla County area with several cells showing signs of rotation. The last contact received from the weather service office before all telephone lines failed was a tornado warning at 0815Z. Contact is expected to be restored shortly, but all personnel should stay alert for further developments.
