The only blocker is that there's no Java library for working with WebP
images AFAIK. If Google would put one out, we could support it in a
heartbeat by just added a new image adaptor class. But until then, the
server can't do anything with the file except treat it as a binary file;
i.e., it can't get metrics on the file or return it as supported content.

supports the format...but is younger and less developed that CX.
