Since we're starting from scratch, I wonder if it wouldn't be interesting
to use Flex Layout with Material to simplify visual rendering.
I only know the basics of Flex Layout but with a little practice you can do
some really interesting things.

I put up a pull request for the new comixed-web module. This module
will replace the comixed-frontend submodule and be the source for the
newly redesigned user interface. The first feature set for the new app
are:
* login/logout functionality
* generic confirmation dialog service
* generic alert system with error and info
I'm going to start building on it as we flesh out a better library
update schema, which I'm going to send out in a separate email.
Looking forward to getting things moving in a new and better direction
now. :D
