Yes, the consolidation is done to the entire library. But I don't
understand the second question: the renaming rule is applied to
comics, it's not a filter. So all of the comics are going to be
renamed based on the rule. Am I misunderstanding something?
Hrm, looks like double quotes are not supported by Windows (even
though I've seen files created with them in their name before) even
though Linux and MacOS can handle them. So that's going to require an
update. Wish this could have been spotted sooner. :(

Found another (likely fringe) case for consolidation failure.
I have a copy of a Painkiller Jane / Darkchylde crossover – helpfully, the
series is Painkiller Jane / Darkchylde: “Lost in a Dream”. ComicVine link.
The initial failure occurs when trying to create the directory – but I’m
assuming the same issue will occur when re-naming the file – the quote marks
aren’t being stripped.
