There is a Ubuntu Hour scheduled for the Thursday the 25th of
October at 1800 (6 p.m.) at Schlotzsky's, 3900 E. Fry Blvd., Sierra
Vista. A Ubuntu Hour is a social event where you can grab a great
sandwich and a cup of coffee or glass of soda and socialize with other
users as well as newcomers. However, many a discussion on important
Ubuntu, Linux, and Free and Open Source topics has been known to take
place during one of these meetings.
There is also a Cochise Linux User Group meeting on Saturday the
27th of October at 1300 (1 p.m.) at the SV Public Library, 2600 E.
Tacoma St., Sierra Vista. There will be a presentation on Ubuntu and
its existing flavors as well as a discussion on finalizing the
preparations for the CLUG Installfest to be held on 03 November. Please
attend if you can.
