Hi Everyone,

I wanted to let you know that a CARL & SPARC institutional repositories
toolkit is available in time for Open Access Week (October 19-23rd
October 2009).

Copies of the advocacy booklet entitled "Greater Reach For Your
Research: Expanding Readership Through Digital Repositories" are
available for download at:
http://www.carl-abrc.ca/projects/author/author-e.html

The toolkit discusses the benefits of repositories, describes how they
fit into the broader scholarly communication environment, responds to
any major concerns that researchers may have, and distinguishes IRs from
other related initiatives in Canada - all in a way that is easy to
browse and read. 

Print copies are also available for purchase if you wish to provide hand
outs to patrons.
