Details
- What we'll do
Join us for an 8-mile up-stream paddle on the Colorado river and two nights of
primitive camping and festivities (with optional day paddle up to the dam,
steam tunnel and possible exploration of other side canyons).
Exact launch time TBD
- What to bring
* BYO boat, gear, food and camping gear etc.
* Please bring several pieces of firewood and optional goodies/music to share
around the fire!
* A long BOW line is very important to tie up the kayaks - due to fluctuating
water levels on the river.
* Also, don't forget a swimsuit for the 'hot tubs' :)
- Important to know
This paddle is for experienced paddlers only - you should be comfortable
paddling upstream for 8 miles on your own. While we intend to keep each other
company, we are not guides and we may split up and go at our own pace.
