> The Child Passenger Safety Specialist uses existing knowledge 
> and experience as a Child Passenger Safety Seat Technician 
> will be responsible for the activities specified in the 
> Kohl’s Cares grant. Assists with strategic planning for 
> events and activities. This includes planning, scheduling, 
> preparing, tracking, reporting and performing car seat 
> events. The specialist will develop structure to organize, 
> manage, direct and lead volunteers at events. 
> Responsibilities include meeting with individuals and 
> families to inspect and educate regarding car seat safety 
> using age and development appropriate, culturally sensitive, 
> communications to meet the needs of the community. Driving 
> the Child Passenger Safety van is required. The specialist 
> will cultivate external relationships with individuals, 
> organizations and corporations to further the mission of the 
> grant. Uses excellent verbal, written, organizational and 
> customer service skills to market Kohl’s and Memorial Health 
> System with professionalism and enthusiasm. Reports to the 
> Trauma System Manager. Seeks to provide the highest quality 
> health care.

> Minimum Education: Basic college courses. Current Child 
> Passenger Safety Technician certification, Colorado Driver's 
> License in good standing. Basic Life Support certification 
> within 30 days of hire 
> Minimum Experience: At least 2 years experience as Child 
> Passenger Safety Technician

> Strength (Medium Work): Exerting 20 to 50 lbs of force 
> occasionally, or 10 to 25 lbs of force frequently, or greater 
> than negligible up to 10 lbs of force constantly to move 
> objects.
