GlacierFull-time Internet Enforcement Manager needed immediately for the Motion Picture Association?s (MPA) Worldwide Internet Enforcement department in Encino, California. As part of the Worldwide Anti-Piracy team, the Internet Enforcement Manager works on the front lines of the MPA?s online anti-piracy efforts, enforcing the copyrights of the MPA?s member companies. Responsibilities include: · Overseeing all outside vendor development and usage, including Internet searching and technical research · Examining new piracy methods and protocols · Overseeing Internet anti-piracy operations, worldwide · Conducting training in Internet functions and piracy-related issues · Overseeing evidence-gathering efforts in support of litigation or criminal enforcement · Supporting Internet investigations Qualifications required are: · Advanced understanding of Internet protocols and networking systems, including TCP/IP, DNS, WHOIS, IRC, FTP, HTTP, P2P and NNTP. · Database development and administration skills, such as Excel, Access, SQL/MYSQL preferred. · Skills in application, system, and/or web services programming, such as Java, Perl, PHP, C, C++, Visual Basic, or HTML preferred. · Previous management experience preferred. · Ability to learn new technologies and protocols and adapt to the changing online environment. · College degree preferred. · Working knowledge of DMCA and copyright law preferred.
