-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 On Wed, 11 Jun 2014 14:41:54 -0400 I'm just a 'Joe User'. I know not how to program or even how to write a simple bash script. I *do* use Linux because I did learn over the years of using M$ from '93 through 2000 that it wasn't safe and there were lots of things I'd need to do to secure my 'things' and my system from prying eyes and a disturbingly arrogant government that's getting worse and worse about taking our freedoms from us. So, my take on the name 'CipherShed' doesn't instill or encourage me that it's a good and strong way to protect my private things. What I see/feel in the name is 'shed'...where I keep my yard tools and hoses and just a bunch of junk one accumulates over the years - lucky to be locked at all and even if locked, not really that hard to break into if one really wanted. Unfortunately, I have little to zero imagination (literally). My only contribution to this thread is 'CipherVault', which someone has probably already thrown out there and I simply missed it. Or maybe something like 'CryptoVault'. Anyway, this is just my take and my contribution. I'm just glad some good people have taken up where Truecrypt left off so that we all still have at least *something* to try and keep our privacy actually private.
