Final Minutes ? 6/10/03

1)   CinSUG now has an EIN.  An account is to be obtained at 5th/3rd ba=
nk.  Our
EIN is 86-1064944.  The certificate from the Secretary of State, Ohio, =
is to be
scanned onto the CinSUG website.

2)   Conformity is to be obtained on the website in reference to CinSUG=
.

3)   Both cinsug.org and cinsug.com are registered.  Cinsug.com forward=
s to
cinsug.org.

4)   Michael Bramley is to send disc of 2001 users to Jeff Ahrnsen to l=
ook for
companies to recruit for 7/10 meeting.

5)   A list of future topics for CinSUG meetings was presented by Ken S=
wann and
discussed briefly.

6)   The location of the one-day meeting has been tabled for this meeti=
ng.

7)   The email blast for the July 10th meeting will be a text version o=
f the
mailing.

8)   Snacks for the July 10th meeting will consist of veggie trays and/=
or cheese
trays as the budget permits, as well as soft drinks.  These may be obta=
ined from
Kroger in Mason, OH.

9)   Jeff is to create a CinSUG application form and will bring a lapto=
p
computer to the meeting to record applicants.

10)  Michael Bramley has obtained a Reds shirt as a gift for Sandy McNe=
ill.

11)  The One Day Conference has the following action items.  George Hur=
ley to
contact Candace Gunnerson regarding Xavier University and the mutual be=
nefits
available to both Xavier and CinSUG.  Ken Swann to contact Northern Ken=
tucky
University and Montgomery Inn.  George Hurley to contact the various do=
wntown
hotels and the new Northern Kentucky convention center.  Sponsorship of=
 the
conference by corporations is strongly recommended.  This may include b=
anner
space on the CinSUG website.  Committee recruitment will begin July 10t=
h.
Potential Social Gathering or Mixer for this meeting is to be planned f=
or
November 20th, 2003 in the evening.

12)  CinSUG meetings will be held quarterly.  The approximate time fram=
e is
June/July, mid-September, January, and March/April, not conflicting wit=
h SUGI.
A CinSUG mission statement will be created from the Articles of Incorpo=
ration
for the next meeting.

13)  Jeff Ahrnsen has created a 1-day poster to distribute to corporati=
ons.  He
is also to contact local SAS reps to come to 7/10 meeting.  Vernon Wala=
tka is to
contact friends at Fifth Third and Anthem to tell them about the July 1=
0
meeting, the One Day Conference and the talk by Candace on Data Mining.=


14)  The next meeting (6/24/03) has been cancelled and rescheduled for =
7/1/03.
