Friends:

This is a quick follow-up to our meeting this morning. Hopefully, you have
all gotten the response from Heather Merrill to my inquiry about “BOUNCE!”
She has provided the press kit and a link to use in streaming the film. I
have sent this out to you (unfortunately my first effort to send this didn't
work so I am resending message without the attached press kit) so that you
can look at the film on your own if you wish. I have sent an e-mail to Alan
about having screenings of “THE GOLDEN DREAM” next Monday and “BOUNCE!” on
Veterans Day. I think 10:00 am will work for both screenings. “Upon further
review” (for those who may watch football on TV) it seemed preferable that we
meet after having seen both films. “THE GOLDEN DREAM” is 108 minutes long and
“BOUNCE!” is just 76 minutes. We should have plenty of time after “BOUNCE!”
to be able to discuss both films and how we proceed from there. Alan will be
consulting with J-Sun about getting the screenings set up, but barring a
setback on that end we should be good to go.

David McLain (the Director of Photography for “BOUNCE!”) who lives in North
Yarmouth has been alerted to our inquiry and has indicated that—schedule
permitting—he would be willing to attend one of our screenings. Based on this
information, I decided to not proceed to engage Ken in booking “DAUGHTER,”
“TAXI,” or “HITCHCOCK/TRUFFAUT” for the dates we discussed this morning. This
would allow us to use a different date for screening “BOUNCE!” should David
not be available for our preferred slot as a potential lead-off for the
series. Hopefully, after screening “BOUNCE!” we will still want it to be our
lead-off and we can offer that time and then adapt if necessary should he not
be available then.

Let me know if you don’t have the link or don’t understand the changes I have
made.

Joel

"CINEMA EXPLORATIONS" film series

Hi Joel, Hi Alan,

Great to hear from you! Thanks so much for your interest in BOUNCE! This is
great news! You're right that the film appeals to not only people of diverse
backgrounds, but all ages as well. It was shot all over the world, and looks
at play from the very young through adulthood. There's definitely a wide
audience for this film, plus the local connection you mentioned-- our DP
David McLain lives in North Yarmouth.

I'm happy to share an online screener with you:

I've also attached our press kit. Please let us know if you have any
questions and when you're ready to talk further!
Thank you again for reaching out, all the best,
Heather
