Hello All,
I meet every Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 and this Thursday I’ll be tied up from
11:30 on. Other that that it’s wide open. Also, Deni is often in the office so
even if I’m not here you all can meet.
Thanks!

Hey Team:
I hope everyone is well and has had a great summer. It is now officially fall
and you know what that means.
Sorry about not sending anything out earlier in the month. I decided to wait
until I got back from Toronto then my computer decided it didn’t want to
work. Now fixed I am back in business. I was hoping to get a first meeting
going either this week or next. I seem to recall that we met last year on
Wednesday mornings. I think Alan indicated that Mondays were not good days
for him as that is when they get organized for the next week. Weekday morning
meetings would also allow us to use the same time for a group screening
should that be needed and certainly we have needed to do that over the last
several years. So what day works best for you? If no mornings work for you,
are there early afternoons that would work?
Alan, are there any other events or meetings scheduled this week or next at
the Square around which we would need to work?
Below is a message from Bob drawing attention to a link to watch a short
film. Originally, I had forwarded e-mails about films from Film Movement.
They still seem to send out screeners. You may want to retrieve that if you
still have it. I could resend it if you no longer have it.
Looking forward to getting together.
Joel

Hello to all and thank you Joel for the film links/suggestions. Looking
forward to selecting films for our 2019 season.
I want to share a link to a short animated (stop action) film. This came to
me through a friend in England who speaks the "Her" voice of the story titled
Him And Her. The link is this.... https://vimeo.com/244266676 ;
Some backstory and caveats to watching this film are that this is a student
film that has been submitted for awards consideration and so any distribution
for general public viewing could tend to disqualify this work for award and
future distribution considerations. So in other words if this ended up on
youtube somehow, it would be bad.
It's a sweet film and really hope you enjoy it. Password is treehouse. :)
