ok. I see the difference. another question: I take it since you are filling the n2 tanks with a scuba tank, you are actually putting breathing air in the tank rather than n2....correct? ----- Original Message ----- From: Thenuts@xxxxxxx To: cinci_dads@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, November 14, 2001 1:13 PM Subject: [cinci_dads] Re: Paintball guns Mike, I'll jump in here. The N2 system is a compressed air system. It uses a different kind of tank. CO2 systems use liquid CO2 which has a problem expanding at colder temps. N2 is not affected by temps (at least not the temps we would be playing in) Also N2 systems can be filled off of SCUBA tanks. I have a some SCUBA tanks, so we can fill our own N2 tanks. The cost to fill a N2 tank will only be around 10 cents a fill give or take. So the initial cost of the N2 tank is higher but you save money down the road with fills. I can bring a SCUBA tank with me every time we play or make sure one is available. If you have any questions give a shout. Jeff
