Hey all, forwarding message about childfest at Children's home. Not sure if
total amount includes our groups donation or not. Nevertheless, sounds like it

I am delighted to announce that we made over $6000 in sales
and cash donations for Child Fest this past Saturday under the strong and
dedicated leadership of Kate Powers!!!! Many people have asked how it went
so we thought we would send out the preliminary information.
In addition to the $6,000, $2053 of in-kind materials and
items were donated to The Children's Home from the event.
There has been over 1800 hours of volunteer time with
support from staff to pull of this event and the agency name was mentioned
numerous times on radio/MoJo before and during the event and on a tv
commerical!
Special recognition and a great deal of thanks go to the
co-chairs Kim, Rebecca and Amy (Parent-Child program participants and
volunteers) for all of the hours of planning and implmentation. Thanks also
to Kate Powers, Tim Daughtery, Stay At Home Dads, parents, and agency staff
who supported this effort.
