Normally I wouldn’t “reply all”, but wanted to share that Kathy trained me on
Santa Rosa for day hikes, and we had a very adventurous outing. I went with her
campsite to campsite on Santa Cruz to time her Margaret Eaton talks (she wanted
to make sure she wasn’t visiting too long), and we had the chance to do some
other projects together. She was very conscientious and thoughtful, I am deeply
sadden that the last part of her life was such a struggle; I hope that she can
rest now peacefully. I strive to be a thorough and thoughtful as she was, when
I work out on the islands.
