Captain Dave was on radio with Gray Whales Count to confirm the morning trip's
group was spotted.Very busy day with families on vacation from Germany, China,
Ohio, and Indiana near where I was raised!

PS The under control on Santa Cruz Island and Paul Petrich and I excited to be
going out to ESCI for the next three days! We are so thankful for the 70 land
fire crew and three National Forest Service tankers and, of course, to Mother
Nature for bringing in the fog to control the fire quickly.
