On the whale watch trip today on the Ranger 85 we saw one gray whale about 100
yards outside the harbor. It gave us a couple good looks and then started
snorkeling. We went out to Anacapa and saw a few dolphin. Seas kept building
and Captain Roy decided to head back early. On the way in we ran into more
dolphins. Even though it was a short, bumpy day people were happy to have seen
the one whale and the dolphins.
