Very Interesting investigation on the mega ship problems. But it said nothing
about their fuel consumption overall and contribution to air polution compared
to more smaller ships. They go slower. What kind of fuel are they designed to
use and how much is used in total amounts compared to amounts of cargo? I know
that the Port of LA/LongBeach has grown to be the largest containership port in
the world. It is also a fact that the air polution has dramatically decreased
in the port area over the past few decades?? Paul
