Another great day on the water! It was sunny when we left the harbor but soon
we were with the marine layer which persisted until we were almost back to the
harbor. Visibility was poor. (Sorry about the font. I don't know know what i
did or how to fix it but I want to finish the report) . But the wildlife was
abundant & active. We were in a large feeding frenzy for a long time with
activity all around. Huge amounts of Sooty Shearwaters, hundreds of Common
Dolphin, similar amounts of sea lions porposing alongside the dolphins,
cormorants, pelicans, & our 2 Humpbacks were all having a great time. Because
of bad ocean conditions further west we stayed around Anacapa. On the south
side we found the Bottlenosed Dolphin. Needless to say, everyone had a
wonderful day.
