What about all the plastic particles everybody is asking where are they going
once in the ocean? Perhaps these little guys and other critters
like them have something to do with it. It would seem the process, an outer
filtering balloon a yard across, isn’t about the animal ingesting plastic. It
might capture
the particles and then sink them to the bottom with its used up balloon.
One of these fist sized guys can filter up to 51 gallons of water per hour &
they make a new balloon about once a day.
A new promising field of study…. recommend it to your kids and grandkids :
mucusology… become a mucusologist… impress your friends at parties… save
the planet.
