Happy St. Pats!
first trip: nadda, other than a gorgeous day there was a gray whale
somewhere, but we didn’t see it.
second trip: two gray whales and two humpbacks
We tooled out of harbor & past the sea lion buoys to see a flotilla of
smallish pelicans. That is sort of unusual. The second trip humpbacks
showed good
flukes and were about two miles off shore. 6 boats were in attendance at one
point for the humpbacks, and all minding their P’s and Q’s.
The whales were doing their thing, sometimes getting closer to one boat &
sometimes another.
I give thanks to Capt. Danny, Crew Johnny and two great groups of fellow whale
watchers. A lot of fun on lovely seas backed by green mountains.
