We had a fabulous trip on the Condor Express today, with captain Dave, Jill,
and Tasha and Naturalists Fran and Michelle. The weather was perfect, seas
were calm and the visibility was amazing. We had guests from all over the
world including Poland, the Netherlands, England and Italy.
We saw six humpbacks today- one smaller one may have been a calf. The
highlight was the one who was lunge feeding through a huge school of
anchovies......you could see the baleen. In addition, we saw several huge
schools of common dolphin, with plenty of California sea lions joining in the
fun.

1,000’s of common dolphin
What a great day on the water, shirtsleeve weather! No wind, 1 foot swell,
and unlimited visibility-we could see all 4 of the Channel Islands.
We saw several megapods of common dolphin, and the humpbacks were everywhere.
We followed Scarlet and a juvenile for almost an hour -the juvenile breached
at least 20 times!
Small group, included visitors from France & the UK.
Thanks to Captain Dave, along with Colton & Jill, for a great trip.
With me today was Larry Driscoll.
