Sightings:
2 humpbacks, 1 adult, 1 juvenile
Several large (500+) pods of common dolphin, with sea lions mixed in.
It was a beautiful day on the channel, but rough! About 1/3 of our passengers
opted out after Captain Dave’s rough water talk.
It took a while, but finally Devon spotted the 2 humpbacks north of SCI. Both
were with us for a good while, and the juvenile awarded our patience with some
spectacular tail throws.
