Another great day on the water:

15 Humpbacks

2000+ Common dolphins

Sea lions, shearwaters, western gulls, pelicans, etc.

First group of common dolphins just outside the harbor, very active feeding, didn't even come to the boat. Then more or less continuous sightings of whales and dolphins out to the shipping lanes off of western SCI. Mostly traveling between bait balls and active feeding, a few lunges, breaches far off. Two whales trumpeting to each other delighted the crowd. Calm seas, overcast skies. Passengers from England, Germany, Indiana, and California.

Thanks to Captains Dave and Colton, deckhand Jill. Bob Warner was the sole naturalist, Carolyn McClesky at PID. Ocean Alert program still having problems, especially for photo reporting.
