The Santa Barbara Independent now has an article about Gray Whale viewing off
the Santa Barbara Coast on Valentine’s Day, the kick-off of our local Gray
Whale season. The author highlights our own Shirley Johnson as an inspirational
docent with quotes like:”If you don’t know about it, how can you love it? And
if you don’t love it, how can you protect it!”.
