adults, feeding activityApprox 30 long beaked Common dolphin, with calves,
Mostly clear, Anacapa and Santa Cruz visible. Lovely day.
Common dolphins found us about 15 minutes out, some bow riding, mostly feeding,
with calves.
Mother and calf Fin whales showed themselves several times halfway out to
Anacapa, not appearing to be traveling in any one direction. The second
sighting of 2 adult Fins further west a little, milling and feeding, gave
everyone an excellent view of themselves, showing back/dorsal/flukes two
separate times.
Thanks to Captain Alex and crew Nate, Chef Paul was kept busy with hungry
passengers.
