I have see the Anacapa light many nights while anchored at Smugglers Harbor on
Santa Cruz Island. It is a short bright flash about once a minute or so. Must
be patient to observe,

Colleagues - I was asked by a passenger why he couldn’t see the light from the
Anacapa lighthouse from Silver Strand at night, even though the island was
clearly visible at sunset.
