Noone was hurt in the blaze and possible cause was from burning leaf embers that had blown onto the building from some burning leaves that the owner had burned just an hour beforehand. Took 30 minutes to get the fire under control and the smoke could be seen for miles. Piatt and Macon county units responded most notably Cerro Gordo and Mt. Zion departments and Mt. Zion had 1 aerial up. Several explosions occurred inside the building possibly from some oil tanks. The business was a Farm and Lawn Equipment company. This report came from the Decatur Herald and Review on Memorial Day. Memorial Day 4:14AM Taylorville, IL Round Table Restraunt located at 102 E Park had a fire that damaged 30% of the building, mostly in the kitchen, storage areas, and part of the upstairs apartment, with the seating area taking on smoke and water damage. Taylorville, Stonington, and Edinburg units responded with a total of 30 firefighters. Took 2 hours to contain. Noone was injured and the those living in the upstairs apartment made it out ok.
