That’s a bummer...the trumpet section could have started off the set with
Reveille:)
Any idea if they are planning a “second send off” later in the day?

Bad news folks - since sendoff will likely be around 6:30 a.m. we have been
asked not to play. They like us and all, but we don’t want to generate
complaints from nearby residents who may still be asleep on a Saturday
morning.
Although - given the cold, maybe it’s good news actually!!

VERY unofficial: Saturday morning send-off will likely be VERY early since
it appears that CHS drew an early semis BOA performance “slot”. Those of
you with drum majors, instrumentalists , or guard members probably know
more.
For those who were not in attendance last night, the show was musically
and visually great. The sudden appearance of the 100 or so white-robed
orchestral Valhalla “angels” greeting the ship at the end was amazing.
I’m sure the kids and directors and field crew must be tired. It’s
wonderful that we can add some adrenaline to their send-offs!
