I thought the sax section was pursuing more of a Wagnerian vibe.

Jim, thanks for sending the playlists.
I’m going to tell Mr. Pote and Mr. Kreke that they can relax. I think we all
would agree that even though there could be a groundswell of intense interest
from our “fans”, the Parent Pep Band will definitely NOT be playing any Mahler
as part of our send-off playlist for this weekend (even though it would tie in
perfectly with the band’s field show and the sax helmets).
Plus, I could not find anything listed online when I searched Google today for
“Mahler’s Greatest Pep Band Hits”.
