Hi Chess Lovers,

Then enter the tournament by emailing our list.
Time is running out to enter this tournament! You have until Monday, June 14,
at 2300 UTC to enter! So, please enter now!
Curtis Cockayne is the Tournament Director. He might change a couple of rules.
His address is Blueskys012@xxxxxxx
You are invited to play in the World
Chess Parlor Tournament.
The tournament is Swiss style. The time control is thirty moves per
hour. Since a chess clock is usually available, the 2.5 minute rule is being
dropped.
This time, to enter, you must promise to get at least 2 Good Citizen points by
the end of Round 3. Usually this means that you will be the third-person
timekeeper for at least one game by the
end of Round 3.
If you have not received at least 2 GC points, you will be removed from the
Tournament.
If you do not have a chess clock, you can write to our chess list, and ask for
someone to show you how
to use a software chess clock. Probably, someone will help you.
This will mean that probably many of your games will have a third party
timekeeper.
You arrange to play your games at a time and date convenient to you. We can
work
around your schedule, even if you are going to be unavailable during the
tournament
for a week or so.
A game usually lass a couple of hours. The full rules will be emailed with the
Round 1 pairings.
