[chaoscope] View Palette Glitch

Attached is a screencap of the Views palette glitch. It shows up after the
slider loses focus.
I really like your #3 and #4 suggestions for the rendering process
(especially #3 as I'm not much of an animation guy, whcih probably explains
why I'm a still photographer not a filmmaker!)
BTW, here's my specs:
Sony VAIO 2.4 GHz Pentium4
768 MB PC2100 RAM
Window XP Home Edition (Version 5.1 - Build 2600.xpsp2.030422-1633, Service
Pack 1)
Onboard Intel 82845G Graphics Controller
